C|net is reporting that the forthcoming XBox 360 from Microsoft will support and co-operate with Apple’s iPod. The XBox will recognise the iPod but here’s the kicker. Any music bought through iTunes won’t work due the conflicting DRMs, there may be more issues to come as the companies have no official relationship with regard to the iPod. The cool functionality that will be on offer will be the ability to play your choice of music behind the game you’re playing. The Xbox launches in the US on 22 November and will support, through USB, a wide range of MP3 players of all denominations.
