Yahoo has quietly rolled out an audio search tool that offers you the chance to navigate to download services. Well, that’s after you’ve been through numerous highly visible ads for its own music service and then there’s no comparison tool when you find the track you’re after.

Wait a minute, who cares? This offers nothing new. Yahoo! start again, study how people search for music and what their most likely results would be, then recode this ‘tool’, provide comparison shopping, more interesting attached editorial content and then launch it.
