Though Jim may be resting in Paris while the other members squabble over whether to licence their music for ads (still a no on that one), the band is entering further into the digital age to celebrate their forthcoming 40th anniversary. From their website, fans will be able to pick and choose tracks from six live concerts that have been bootlegged many times but never officially released. Fully remixed, the tracks come from a gig in San Francisco in 1967 and will be powered by Basecamp, which Pearl Jam used for a similar exercise last year.
