Easy come, easy go for the peer-to-peer services as BearShare bites the dust. The company has agreed to shut down, pay $30 million to the music labels to avoid litigation and also sold its data, domain name and technology to iMesh, which is attempting to build a legalised p2p service. The US RIAA has targeted seven p2p services which are BearShare, i2hub, WinMX, WarezP2P, Limewire, eDonkey and SoulSeek. i2Hub, WinMX have already gone.
