The first of what is likely to be a series of music video deals has been signed between EMI and Microsoft for the forthcoming Zune launch at the end of the year. The music labels have been impressed with the alleged features that Zune will boast – namely wireless connectivity and the ability to share, legally, music.

All the labels are moving to sign deals to make some money from their extensive catalogues of music videos that were originally loss leaders but in the age of little chunk consumption and the mobile platform have taken on a new lease of life.
