SpiralFrog, the yet-to-launch digital music service based on advertising and non-paying subscription, has added another feather to its so-far PR-based hat as it’s signed up EMI’s music catalogue. Not particularly exciting in itself but what is interesting is that the agreement also covers lyrics in terms of search and accessing. An area that’s been largely overlooked by everyone as it seems to be an additional set of negotiations too far.
