Radio getting busy with it over the past couple of weeks. Firstly, UBC has announced that its trial of impulse has been a big success with folks downloading seven tracks a week as opposed to an expected seven a month. Songs may cost £1.25 as opposed to amrket leader iTunes’ 79p but it seems that scratching of a musical itch may be equally compelling.

XFM yesterday launched its mini-XFM player, allegedly allowing you to build a personal radio station from the XFM experience. However, the overly intrusive Xbox 360 ads drove me away as they swamped the page – way to oversell fellas!
