It’s been a good year for music in the UK. We’ve got greater diversity, sales are strong, hell, even vinyl singles are making a comeback. iTunes has unveiled its top sellers in the UK and there are some familiar names: Gnarls Barkley with *the* single of the year Crazy, Scissor Sisters, Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake (he’s bringing the sexy back btw), Snow Patrol and (ugh) Razorlight. iTunes offers 3.5 million tracks in the UK and has a dominating 80% market share.
