I find Steve Jobs a fascinating guy. Professionally and personally, he seems quite a character and it just so happens that he’s one of my heroes with regard to his work with Apple (twice). And for all his shouting and bullying, well as I’m not on the receiving end so I find that the results justify the means.

Fortune Magazine has a nice nugget-sized interview with Mr Jobs covering the iPhone, iTunes, Apple and his life beyond that.

To provide some balance, there’s a very long piece from Fortune focusing on Jobs’ illness and Apple’s stock irregularities but it kicks off with a snide remark about one interviewer getting time with Jobs while writer Peter Elkind didn’t. Silly really considering it’s an obviously well-researched piece that further illustrates the complexities of Jobs as a business leader and person and instead starts by focusing on the writer and not the subject (thought journalism had moved past this…)
