The Last.FM bandwagon seems to have hit a speed bump with Warner Music pulling its artists from the Last.FM free streaming service as it seeks to better monetise, i.e. strike a better deal, as it has done with MySpace. The labels are still under the impression that digital services are making masses of money from its artists, and dagnabbit, the labels want some and now.

The fact that many digital services have crunched the numbers and don’t like the results and are starting to back away should serve as a warning to work with not against the services but hey, it’s just a thought.
