I’m fascinated by Twitter. I can see no real purpose to it or why anyone would be interested in my inane ramblings but it sure is fun and maybe that’s enough.

I do wish the locational aspect was a more active one and I could foresee a commercial angle to that. It would be much more interesting to open the digital door when out and about and welcome in offers or specials from shops etc. Much nicer than via SMS and a lot less about spam and more about choice.

Still, I’m not alone in wondering about its future and even the Twitter CEO admits he’s not got a plan but right now it’s all about the potential and what’s wrong with that.
